Jojo Hogan started building her tiny home at the age of 16, using materials recycled from houses that were being demolished. Her 14-square-meter house includes a double loft bed, a kitchen, a shower, and a composting toilet.

“Having a tiny home means I don’t need to work a typical nine-to-five job to pay for the luxurious life,” Jojo said in an interview with the BBC. “I can work a part-time job and live sustainably, with very low outgoings.”
Jojo’s project is a prime example of how sustainable living can be accessible to all, even teenagers, who want to take responsibility for their own future.
