Alone in the Woods – Solo Camping + Cooking Spicy Soup Over My Camp Stove
Camping is an excellent way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, embrace nature and rejuvenate one’s soul. However, not everyone can appreciate the same level of solitude while camping. Some people prefer to camp alone in the woods to enhance their connection with nature and experience a sense of self-reliance and adventure.
For me, camping alone in the woods is an exhilarating experience that I cherish immensely. I love the freedom it offers, the tranquility it provides, and the opportunity it presents to indulge in outdoor cooking.
On my recent solo camping trip, I decided to experiment with cooking a spicy soup over my camp stove. I had always read about the health benefits of eating hot and spicy food, and I thought that the combination of nature, solitude, and spicy soup would be just what I needed to re-energize my body and soul.
After setting up camp, I started by collecting dry twigs and leaves for my camp stove. I then lit the stove and placed my cooking pot on it. I added water and let it boil while I diced some onions, garlic, and ginger. Next, I added the veggies and let them cook before seasoning with some salt and pepper.
Once the veggies were translucent, I added some spicy pepper flakes, cumin, and paprika for a robust flavor. I let the soup simmer for a few more minutes before pouring it into my cup and enjoying it with some toasted bread.
Eating my spicy soup in the middle of the woods was a surreal experience. The savory aroma wafting from the soup mixed with the fresh air, creating a sublime feeling that is hard to describe. The spiciness of the soup was not only satisfying, but it also added a touch of adventure to my otherwise peaceful and relaxing experience.
Cooking and enjoying my spicy soup in the woods were more than just food and nourishment for me. It was a moment to connect with nature, to embrace the beauty of the moment, and to enjoy the simplicity of life.
In conclusion, solo camping in the woods is an excellent way to discover oneself, connect with nature, and experiment with outdoor cooking. Add a touch of spice to your camping experience and try cooking some hearty soup over your camp stove. You won’t regret it!
